More Summer Fun: 1st Hair Cut, Kane visit, ATL Travels & Random Fun

Okay, so I fibbed... I did hook up the camera to document Jimmy and my 5 year anniversary trip to Puerto Rico (Cam, where are your priorities?!). Click here to see that.

Here is some more summer 2012 fun....

FIRST HAIR CUT! This is (obviously the before)... Also the pics from the previous post at the beach - it was obvious he was in need of a little snip-a-roo...

Jelly beans... first hair cut salon.

Buckling up for a bumppppyyyyy riiiiiiddddeeeeee!

He wasn't so sure... but he was still going with it. I mean come on. It's a car with a steering wheel the size of James. What's not to love for James?!

He wasn't feeling the "cape"...

It was rough but he sat in the car the whole time.

A little cray-cray... but still in the car.

A little better...

Finishing up!

Ta - da!!

You ain't cool unless you get a certificate for your first hair cut! The second time we went for a hair cut was not quite as successful. James knew better than to get hop in that car. He wouldn't leave mommy's lap, but I'm happy to report the third hair cut was an absolute walk in the park. Baby steps... baby steps :)

James continues to turn in to more of a ham biscuit every single day!

Climbing.. climbing... climbing... going.. going... going.... Doesn't ever stop! :)

Ian and Britnie came to visit with little Maren in her belly! James delivered his first dowry for the love of his life.... a cow. :)

James face, pricelss.

James loves some fort chillin' while snackin'.

... and so does Jimmy... :)

This picture just cracks me up. He looks like a big kid!

We made several trips to Atlanta to figure out where in the world we wanted to live. Lots and LOTS of options of neighborhoods in Atlanta... And I was AMAZED at the number of power lines. Seriously - you'll be in a fabulous neighborhood. Actually find a house that is in budget (ATL is ex-pan-siiive!). Then drive around the corner - BAM! Power lines. Ugh.

Have I ever mentioned how traveling and hotel living with a wild toddler was no walk in the park? Well. If not.... picture below sums it up.

But it did always make our homecomings that much mo' betta!

Just a fun picture before church on a random Sunday...

James is my cool big boy.

Sunday lunch at grandmommy's with Frannie, David, Mom, Dad, Ellie, Gigi, Sandra and Grandmama... Good family fun!

Have I ever mentioned how impeccably dressed my little niece is?! Always SO adorable!
